Taking the friendly dragon on board, the captain and crew realized its terrible dark secret all too late. Slowly, one by one the ship's precious potted plants began to die, ending with the climactic show down over the captain's beloved Palmy. In the end, the captain resigned to his fate and kept the dragon. 'Here Be Dragons. Protect ye plants, or doom on ye!'"

It is.. DARIUS! He's a great guy, there doesn't seem to be too much fan art of his character out there : O, and he was feeling kinda blue so it was obvious this had to be made. Well, hopefully this picture isn't too crappy and makes up for the lack of Darius pictures out there somewhat X3.

Of course, as typical of myself, I pushed myself to the max--which meant a background too. This took a lot longer than I had anticipated, but it was well worth it and hopefully causes no sudden eye hemorrhaging for anyone.
